    In the continuing saga of Tom’s Teeth, I spent another 2 1/2 hours “vacationing” in the dentist’s chair this morning. I played both of these games when they came out (on a Radio Shack Color Computer and an Amiga 1000, respectively) and you can definitely see how they influenced later games.     Well, uvtek.com now shows some silly gateway page, but up in the corner is a place where you can type in an offer to buy the domain name. On a whim I typed in $25 and clicked submit, and it brought me to another page that promptly told me that the minimum bid for my future domain name is $150! Robert S. Kieren must be making quite a profit from this little cybersquatting enterprise, assuming people actually buy domain names from people like him. 301 words.

    In case anyone but Cynthia is actually reading this page, I am now working only four days a week at Cerebral Locomotion, otherwise affectionately known as Gulag 727. I wasn’t supposed to reveal this to any of my co-workers, but since it’s rather hard to disguise the fact that I’m consistently not at work every Friday, they caught on pretty quick without any help from me.     Well today was the celebrated Cerebral Locomotion Christmas Party.. at the Mexican restaraunt a block from the office. I got a toy racing car, two movie tickets, and a gift certificate to I think some other restaraunt. It was exciting and invigorating and the conversation was positively stimulating, especially because we had to confine our topics to non-boss-bashing. 97 words.
